Our Structural Department provides design and detail drawings for structural steel fabrication, either in conjunction with our designs or designs prepared by other firms. Our staff works closely with our clients to prepare cost effective designs and accommodate their specific project requirements and schedule. Hanover Engineering has produced designs for new facilities and the repair or upgrade of existing facilities involving a variety of materials including structural steel, timber, concrete, concrete masonry units, brick and other engineered materials.

Hanover Engineering’s Structural Department utilizes current codes and national industrial standards in the design process, including those produced by AISC, ASME and ASTM, in order to comply with the International Building Code (IBC), OSHA and ANSI regulations, as well as with the client’s design criteria. Our design capabilities are enhanced by the use of the STAAD.Pro computer analysis program. This program allows the analysis of virtually any size structure for stresses and allows the computer-aided design to check the member sizes for code compliance. Hanover Engineering’s Structural Engineers review all output information prior to approving any final design.
